Semaglutide for Men: the Sellers, and What Actually Differs

The drug is the same one on every other board here, and the evidence shows no significant outcome difference by sex. What differs for men is mostly where they buy it: a large share of this market reaches men through storefronts built around testosterone and sexual health, where the GLP-1 sits inside a wider membership.

How this board is built

That bundling is the thing to price carefully. A men’s-health membership can fold a consult, a lab panel and a second prescription line into one monthly figure, and the GLP-1 portion is then hard to compare against a seller seat that does nothing else. Maximus is the clearest case on this roster: its headline $249.99 is the one-month rate, and the same product is $150.32 a month on a twelve-month plan.

The second difference is timing rather than biology. Men more often arrive at a GLP-1 later, with more weight to lose and more cardiometabolic risk already on the chart. That does not change the drug, but it does change which evidence matters — the cardiovascular outcome trial reported a 20% relative reduction in major events for semaglutide, and there is no equivalent trial for tirzepatide in that population. That is in the molecule comparison.

Everything else is the same question everyone faces: does the price hold as the dose climbs, and is the advertised figure the standing rate? See the flat-pricing board.

Reading a bundled price

A membership that includes a GLP-1 is not comparable, line for line, with a seller that ships a vial. It may be better value if you would have paid for the other parts anyway, and considerably worse if you would not.

The question that settles it is what the figure covers and what it does not. A consult fee, a lab panel, shipping and the medication are four separate costs, and different sellers draw the line in different places. Two headline numbers that look $40 apart can be identical once everything is added, or twice as far apart.

The second question is the same one this whole site turns on: whether the number survives month two. Several sellers here quote a rate that assumes a quarterly or annual commitment paid upfront, divided out to look smaller than the month-to-month price actually is.

How we judge sellers

  • Price transparencyCan you find what a month costs — for the molecule and the form you want — before creating an account, and does the seller's own site agree with itself?
  • Honest headlineIs the figure the seller leads with the figure it bills? A price that needs a twelve-month prepay, or that is struck through from an anchor nobody pays, is a different number from a standing monthly rate.
  • Dose-ladder pricingDoes the price hold as your dose escalates, or is it re-set at every step? This is the difference most buyers only discover in month three.
  • AccessHow many states the seller ships to, and whether it covers more than one molecule or delivery form.

We never show a fabricated price or rating, and access notes appear only where a provider publishes them. Pricing and availability change often — confirm current details on the provider’s own site.

Common questions

Is there a semaglutide made for men?
No. The product is the same regardless of who takes it, and the real-world evidence available shows no significant differences by sex in weight or metabolic outcomes. A men's-health brand selling it differs in what else is in the membership, not in the medication.
Do men lose weight faster on semaglutide?
Not in a way the evidence patterns on sex. Individual variation is wide and starting weight differs, but a 248-patient real-world cohort found no significant outcome difference between men and women.
Is it worth buying through a men's health platform?
It depends entirely on whether you want the rest of the membership. If you would pay for the consult, the labs and a second prescription line anyway, bundling can be good value. If you only want the GLP-1, you are paying for things you did not come for — compare the GLP-1 figure alone against a seller that does nothing else.
Does semaglutide affect testosterone?
Weight loss itself can change hormone levels, which is a reason men on a testosterone protocol should tell the prescriber they are starting a GLP-1 rather than treat the two as separate purchases. That is a clinical conversation and not one a comparison table can settle.
