Kin Meds review

Consult fee, not medication

The $149 beside Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo buys the consultation and follow-ups, with the medication billed separately after approval.

Our verdict

Five GLP-1 cards on the Kin Meds homepage read "Starting at $149/mo". The footnote on the branded-medication page states what that buys: "provider consultation and follow ups only. Price of the medication(s) are charged upon consult approval." The drug then ships through NovoCare or LillyDirect at a price Kin Meds does not publish, so orforglipron at $149 is not something a cash-paying buyer can actually purchase. The one GLP-1 figure here that is a medication price is the compounded semaglutide, held at $199 across every dose.

What it is

A telehealth platform selling compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide alongside brand-name Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo, with hormone, peptide and sexual-health lines on the same site.

How it works

Kin Meds states it does not directly provide medical or pharmacy services; independent physician networks prescribe and third-party licensed pharmacies dispense. Intake opens with a $49 application and screening step that includes an at-home blood test kit. The branded-medication page lists that line as "Complementary" in its pricing stack while the FAQ below it says the fee applies regardless of outcome and is non-refundable.

Pricing transparency

Compounded semaglutide is $199, with the page reading "All Doses just $199" and repeating it as "Same Price. Every Dose." Compounded GLP-1/GIP with B12 starts at $249, and the oral drops run $249 for a 30-day supply at 3.5 mg, rising to $349 and then $399 as the dose steps up. The five brand cards — Wegovy injection, Wegovy pill, Zepbound KwikPen, Zepbound vial and Foundayo — all read $149, and all five carry the consultation-only footnote. A separate page advertises "as low as $49 /week" with a $53 first-order discount, which is the $249 starting dose reduced to $196 and divided by four weeks. That describes one order, not a standing rate.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide prepared in a licensed 503A pharmacy, plus five FDA-approved brand products. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before dispensing, which the site's own disclaimer states. One detail on the branded page does not line up: the Foundayo card says the medication ships through NovoCare, while the footer names Foundayo as an Eli Lilly product.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • The consultation-only footnote is published rather than hidden
  • Compounded semaglutide holds $199 at every dose
  • The oral drops are priced across all five dose steps
  • Brand Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo are all offered

Watch-outs

  • Five brand cards advertise $149 that buys no medication
  • What the brand medication costs is never published
  • The $49 screening fee is called complimentary and non-refundable on one page
  • The $49-a-week headline describes a discounted first order

Best for

Buyers wanting one flat compounded rate.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone costing brand medication before intake.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Kin Meds’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. Frequently asked

Can a cash-paying buyer get Foundayo for $149?
No. The $149 covers the provider consultation and follow-ups, and the Foundayo card states the medication is charged on consult approval and shipped by a manufacturer pharmacy. Kin Meds publishes no figure for the drug itself, so the total a buyer would pay cannot be established from the site.
What does the $53 discount apply to?
The first order only, applied automatically at checkout. It takes the $249 starting dose of the GLP-1 drops down to $196, which is the "$49 /week" the promotion page advertises. Every order after the first is charged at the standing price for the prescribed dose.
Is the compounded semaglutide price flat across doses?
Yes. The Personalized GLP-1 page states "All Doses just $199" and repeats the claim as "Same Price. Every Dose." The oral drops work the opposite way, opening at $249 for a 30-day supply at 3.5 mg and reaching $399 at 14 mg and above.
What does the intake cost before any medication?
$49 for application and screening, which includes an at-home blood test kit. The FAQ states the fee applies whether or not a prescription is written and is non-refundable because the screening has been performed. The pricing stack on the same page labels that line "Complementary", so the two disagree.
Is Kin Meds expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth sellers providers?
Kin Meds publishes a starting figure of $199/mo. Across the 115 GLP-1 telehealth sellers providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $76 to $369 with a median of $170, which puts Kin Meds above the median. The other 5 GLP-1 telehealth sellers providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
