Tuyo Health review

Pharmacies named, fees split

Compounded semaglutide is $155 a month and tirzepatide $279 with no fee attached, while the brand shelf beside them adds a membership charge the same site says never exists.

Our verdict

The compounded rates are clean. $155 a month for semaglutide and $279 for tirzepatide, with quarterly lab work, shipping and the consultation inside the figure and no membership fee on top. Two compounding pharmacies are named outright, Strive and Empower, and twenty served states are listed in the FAQ. The inconsistency is on the brand side, where the product pages promise "no membership fee—ever" while the comparison table adds "+ Membership fee $99" to the Wegovy and Zepbound column. The compounded figures are also floors, since that same table prices by dose and the FAQ warns a higher dose may carry an additional cost.

What it is

A bilingual, Latino-founded telehealth clinic serving twenty states, selling compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide alongside brand Wegovy and Zepbound, metformin, and separate lines for sexual health, hair loss, testosterone and primary care.

How it works

A three-minute eligibility quiz, then a telehealth encounter with a licensed provider that may be live or asynchronous depending on state law. Compounded medication is cash-pay only and ships in roughly three to five days from a named partner pharmacy. Lab work is included quarterly on the compounded plans and twice a year on the brand ones. Cancellation takes effect immediately from the account portal, and every consultation is offered in Spanish or English.

Pricing transparency

Compounded semaglutide is $155 a month against a struck-through $179, and compounded tirzepatide $279 against $329. Both are stated to carry no membership fee, and both include labs, shipping, the consultation and clinical support. They are entry figures rather than flat rates: the comparison table describes cash pricing as varying by dose and available upon evaluation, and the FAQ says a higher dose requiring an additional cost will be stated at consultation. Brand Wegovy and Zepbound are priced separately and do carry a membership charge, which contradicts the no-membership-fee answer on the compounded pages.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, prepared by Strive Pharmacy or Empower Pharmacy, both named with addresses and phone numbers in the FAQ. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before dispensing. Tuyo prints that disclosure under every weight-loss card. Brand Wegovy and Zepbound are stocked as well, as is metformin, and the brand column is where the fee structure changes.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • Two compounding pharmacies named with addresses
  • Twenty served states listed in the FAQ
  • Quarterly lab work inside the compounded price
  • Care delivered in Spanish and English

Watch-outs

  • Compounded rates are floors that rise by dose
  • A membership fee is denied and then charged
  • Higher-dose pricing appears only after evaluation
  • A page title still ships an unfilled placeholder

Best for

Spanish-speaking buyers who want the pharmacy named.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone who needs a higher-dose price before enrolling.

How we assessed this. Frequently asked

Does Tuyo Health charge a membership fee?
Not on the compounded plans, where the product pages state there is no membership fee ever. The brand column of the weight-loss comparison table tells a different story, adding a $99 membership fee beside the cash prices for Wegovy and Zepbound. Which answer applies depends on which medication is bought.
Is $155 the price at every dose?
No. The comparison table describes cash-pay pricing as varying by dose and available upon evaluation, and $155 is where semaglutide starts. The FAQ adds that a higher dose requiring an additional cost will be stated during the consultation. No figure above the starting dose is published anywhere on the site.
Which pharmacies does Tuyo Health use?
Strive Pharmacy, headquartered in Gilbert, Arizona with locations in Tampa and San Antonio, and Empower Pharmacy. Both are listed in the FAQ with phone numbers and addresses, so a medication question can go straight to the compounder. Tuyo states that a partner pharmacy processes and ships the prescription directly.
Which states does Tuyo Health serve?
Twenty: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Eligibility is also capped by age, at eighteen to seventy-five. The list is published in the FAQ rather than left to the intake.
Is Tuyo Health legit?
Tuyo Health is a GLP-1 sellers by price service. Its stated availability: 20 states. It displays a LegitScript certification claim, which we record as a claim and not as a verified fact: LegitScript's public checker is gated and returns the same page for any domain put into it, so no one can reproduce a check from it. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.
Is Tuyo Health expensive compared with other GLP-1 sellers by price providers?
Tuyo Health publishes a starting figure of $155/mo. Across the 272 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $76 to $449 with a median of $179, which puts Tuyo Health below the median, toward the cheaper end. The other 14 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
