Avono Health review
Two programs, bundles contradict
Two separately priced programs, a flat rate inside each one, and a home page that sells the prepaid bundles the pricing page says do not exist.
Our verdict
Avono prices a Microdose Program capped at 2.5 mg apart from a Standard Dose Program above it, and holds each rate flat as the dose climbs. That is a genuinely unusual structure, and the seller argues for it at length. The problem is that the pricing page states every plan is month to month with no three, six, nine or twelve month bundles, while the home page offers a three-month injectable bundle at $699. That bundle works out to more per month than paying monthly, and its savings line cites a month-to-month rate the pricing page does not use.

What it is
A telehealth seller of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, offered as weekly injections, oral capsules and orally dissolving tablets, across two separately priced dose programs.
How it works
Intake, clinician review and shipping are bundled into one monthly charge. The card is authorized during intake and charged only if a clinician prescribes. Four compounding pharmacies are named on the site, and coverage is stated as all 50 states.
Pricing transparency
The Standard Dose Program is $219 a month for the semaglutide injection, $299 for tirzepatide, $289 for semaglutide oral capsules and $349 for tirzepatide oral capsules. The Microdose Program, for dosing up to 2.5 mg, runs $159, $219, $219 and $239 across injection and dissolving tablet. Avono states no membership fee, no clinician fee and no dose-based increase within a program. The home page then lists a three-month injectable bundle at $699, which is $233 a month against a stated $219 month to month, and describes the saving as measured against $269.
Branded vs compounded
Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, dispensed as vials, oral capsules and orally dissolving tablets. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before dispensing, and Avono states that directly in its own question block. Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx are named as the dispensing partners.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- No membership fee and no separate clinician fee
- One rate held flat across every dose in a program
- Four compounding pharmacies named outright
- Card authorized at intake, charged only on approval
Watch-outs
- The home page sells bundles the pricing page denies exist
- The three-month injectable bundle costs more per month
- Two different month-to-month rates appear for one injection
- Microdose and standard rates sit close enough to confuse
Best for
Buyers who want one monthly figure that does not move with the dose.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who needs the home page and the pricing page to agree before paying.

Frequently asked
- What is the difference between the Microdose and Standard Dose programs?
- They are priced as separate programs rather than two sizes of one plan. Microdose covers clinician-guided dosing up to 2.5 mg; Standard Dose applies above that range. Moving between them changes the monthly figure, and the Standard Dose rate applies from the point of the move.
- Does the price go up as the dose goes up?
- Not inside a program. Avono holds the same monthly rate at every dose level a clinician prescribes within either program. The increase comes from switching programs, not from titrating within one, which is a meaningfully different structure from a seller that reprices at each step.
- Is the three-month bundle cheaper?
- Not for the injection. The injectable bundle is $699 for three months, which works out at $233 a month, while the same injection is listed at $219 a month paid monthly. The bundle's savings claim is measured against $269 a month, a figure the pricing page does not carry.
- Are there fees on top of the monthly price?
- Avono states there are none: no membership fee, no clinician fee, and shipping included. Follow-up clinician messaging is described as part of the monthly price rather than a separate visit charge. Nothing on the pricing page contradicts that, which is more than can be said for its bundle claims.
- Is Avono Health legit?
- Avono Health is a GLP-1 sellers by price service. Its stated availability: All 50 states. What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.
- Is Avono Health expensive compared with other GLP-1 sellers by price providers?
- Avono Health publishes a starting figure of $219/mo. Across the 332 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $76 to $449 with a median of $179, which puts Avono Health above the median. The other 23 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
