Our verdict
The semaglutide price is competitive and the tirzepatide price is not, and the gap between them is the whole story: doubling is at the extreme end of how this market prices the step. If you might escalate onto tirzepatide, that decision costs $1,800 a year here rather than the $300 to $600 it would at a seller with a narrow step.
