Our verdict
PlushCare is a primary-care telehealth practice with a weight-loss line, not a GLP-1 dispensary, and the distinction decides what its numbers mean. Its own price is a $19.99 monthly membership with the first month free, plus $129 for an initial visit without insurance or a copay with it. Medication and lab work are excluded in writing. The drug figures it publishes — $149 and $299 for compounded semaglutide, $299 to $449 for Zepbound vials, $499 for Wegovy — are the prices of partner and manufacturer pharmacies, and the $149 covers the 0.25 mg starting dose alone.

What it is
A nationwide online primary-care and urgent-care practice, part of Accolade, whose board-certified physicians can prescribe GLP-1 medication and send it to a pharmacy of the patient's choosing.
How it works
Membership first, then a booked appointment with a board-certified primary care physician. Lab work is frequently ordered and reviewed at a follow-up. The practice submits prior authorizations to the pharmacy benefit manager and chases denials, which is the substantive service on the branded route. Prescriptions go to an outside pharmacy; PlushCare dispenses nothing.
Pricing transparency
$19.99 a month for membership, first month free, with a $129 initial visit without insurance or an insurance copay instead. Medication and lab costs are excluded from both. On the semaglutide page, a preferred partner pharmacy is quoted at $149 a month for the 0.25 mg dose and $299 a month for the 0.5, 1.0, 1.7, 2.0 and 2.4 mg doses. Zepbound vials through LillyDirect are listed at $299 for 2.5 mg, $399 for 5 mg and $449 from 7.5 mg upward, with pens at a flat $650. Wegovy is $499 through NovoCare.
Branded vs compounded
Brand-name GLP-1s are the core of it: Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Saxenda, Rybelsus and Victoza, alongside Contrave, Xenical and metformin. Compounded semaglutide is offered only while brand Ozempic and Wegovy sit on the FDA shortage list, a condition PlushCare states outright, and only to residents of forty states and the District of Columbia. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before dispensing. There is no compounded tirzepatide line.
