Lavender Sky Health review

Pay per consultation

Lavender Sky Health separates consultation fees from pharmacy-specific medication plans, without a recurring membership or automatic refill subscription.

Our verdict

Lavender Sky Health offers a useful alternative for patients who prefer ordering care and medication when needed rather than maintaining a subscription. Its pharmacy-by-pharmacy tables give more detail than a single starting price, but require careful reading: an advertised monthly equivalent can represent a larger prepaid supply. National practice coverage also does not mean every listed pharmacy or formulation is available in every state.

What it is

Lavender Sky Health is a direct-pay telehealth practice providing weight-management consultations and prescriptions when appropriate. It offers electronic consultations through secure messages as well as live phone or video appointments. An electronic visit is asynchronous, so it suits patients comfortable explaining their history in writing and waiting for a response. State eligibility can require a live appointment instead. The clinical relationship is separate from the pharmacy fulfilling the order, and the practice does not offer in-person visits. Patients who need a physical examination or urgent local assessment should account for that limitation when choosing their ongoing care.

How it works

New-patient consultations are listed at $65 and follow-ups at $40, with medication billed separately. The services page describes follow-ups every six months during active treatment and every twelve months on maintenance, with earlier review possible when starting or when the clinician needs closer monitoring. Refills can occur between required consultations. This model avoids paying a membership just to keep an account open, but it still involves clinical follow-up rather than unrestricted ordering. Patients transferring at more than a starting dose need documentation of their current prescription, and the provider decides whether continuation is appropriate.

Pricing transparency

The medication table lists each pharmacy, formulation, supply size and upfront total. For example, ReviveRx semaglutide/B6 Tier 1 is $195 for an eight-to-ten-week supply, while a Southend semaglutide/B6 Monthly Starter is $139 for one month; consultation charges are additional. These illustrate different purchase sizes, not competing versions of a universal monthly bill. The table says its monthly equivalents are for comparison rather than a payment schedule. Medication, shipping and supplies are included in the listed compounded injection plan prices. Compare the full invoice, intended supply period and required consultation before choosing the apparently lower equivalent. A longer supply ties up more money and should be evaluated alongside the pharmacy’s labeled use period.

Branded vs compounded

The practice offers compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide plans, as well as branded medication pathways. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality before dispensing. Formulations and concentrations vary by pharmacy, so a change in supplier is not simply a change in shipping company. The published plan tables name pharmacies including ReviveRx, Hallandale, Strive, Empower and Southend. Patients can choose among eligible partners, subject to state coverage and availability. The separate state page is especially useful: check the actual pharmacy options for your address before choosing a formulation or paying for a consultation.

Best for

Cash-paying adults comfortable with remote care who want pharmacy-specific options and prefer paying for consultations and medication orders as needed rather than maintaining a membership.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Lavender Sky Health’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. Frequently asked

Is there a monthly membership?
No. Ask when your next clinical review is due and whether the intended refill can proceed before it. Paying as needed still involves the prescriber’s follow-up requirements; it is not unrestricted medication ordering.
Is a monthly equivalent the amount charged today?
Not necessarily. Tier and extended plans are paid upfront, and the tables explicitly describe monthly figures as comparisons rather than billing schedules. Read the total-cost and supply columns together. A smaller equivalent can involve a larger initial purchase than a shorter plan.
Does the consultation fee include medication?
No. Identify whether your quote includes the actual medicine and delivery or only care. In particular, the practice distinguishes Brand-Name Standard plans from medication-inclusive pharmacy plans. Request the full prescription purchase separately when necessary.
Can I choose my pharmacy?
Yes, among eligible partners. Check the state-coverage page before paying, particularly if you want to continue a specific formulation or concentration. A familiar pharmacy name in a national price table is not confirmation of availability at your address.
Is the practice available nationwide?
It states that it serves all fifty states and Washington, DC. Pharmacy shipping coverage is narrower and varies by medication. Clinical coverage is therefore only the first check; the dispensing route and product availability for your actual address also need to be confirmed.
Does Lavender Sky handle prior authorizations?
The FAQ says it does not complete prior authorizations. Someone counting on commercial insurance coverage should check requirements with the insurer before booking. An existing authorization from another clinician may or may not be usable, and the insurer determines whether the medication will be covered.
Can I cancel a medication order?
The terms make medication orders final once submitted to the pharmacy and say processing begins when payment is completed. Later alterations or exceptions are not guaranteed. Review the invoice before paying, including the pharmacy, formulation, quantity and delivery address, rather than assuming there will be a cancellation window after payment.
Are unused pre-payments refundable?
The terms allow requests for unused pre-payments within 180 days, minus a non-refundable five-percent processing fee. Once applied to an invoice, the pre-payment is no longer refundable. This is a specific rule for unused account credit, not a general refund promise for dispensed or ordered medication.
