Contour Health review

Pharmacy named, dose-scaled

Medication is sold by the vial at a published $30 a week for semaglutide and $50 for tirzepatide, and the pharmacy that fills it is named in the terms of service.

Our verdict

Contour Health names Strive Pharmacy as its fulfillment partner in the terms of service, with street addresses and a phone number, which almost nothing in this category does. It also charges nothing outside the medication: no membership, no consult fee, no shipping line. The weakness is the figure itself. Both prices are labeled a starting price that depends on dose, medication is sold in two-month vials rather than monthly quantities, and no milligram strength appears beside either number. What a buyer pays is confirmed after a free consult, not before.

What it is

A provider-owned telehealth practice selling compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide by the vial, with no subscription or membership, across 46 states. Clinical care is led by nurse practitioners with a named medical director.

How it works

A free consult with a licensed nurse practitioner comes first, and the exact price is confirmed before any payment. Dosing is titrated in small increments, with check-ins every few weeks. There is no auto-refill on the weight-loss program: reordering happens when the patient and provider decide to. No lab work is required before starting.

Pricing transparency

Compounded semaglutide starts at $30 a week and compounded tirzepatide at $50 a week, both marked as starting prices that depend on dose. Medication is sold in two-month vials, so those weekly rates describe a single upfront charge rather than a monthly bill. Contour states there is never a membership fee, a consult fee or a shipping charge on any program, and that consultations cost $0. The older structure of a $250 or $500 starting package with a separately stated average monthly cost no longer appears anywhere on the site.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, both injectable. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality before dispensing. The weight-loss page calls the source a vetted 503A compounding pharmacy; the terms of service identify it as Strive Pharmacy and list its locations and contact details.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Contour Health’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. We publish no fabricated ratings or first-hand outcomes. A partnership never changes the assessment — see how we make money.

Frequently asked

Which pharmacy fills a Contour Health prescription?
Strive Pharmacy. The terms of service name it as the current partner pharmacy, list locations in Colorado, Florida, Texas and Utah, and publish an email address and phone number for it. The weight-loss page itself says only 'a vetted 503A compounding pharmacy', so the name sits a click away from the price.
What does a month of semaglutide actually cost?
Contour publishes $30 a week as a starting price rather than a monthly figure, which works out near $130 over a calendar month at that rate. Medication is sold in two-month vials and the price is explicitly dose-dependent, so a higher dose costs more. The exact figure is quoted during the free consult.
Is there a membership or subscription fee?
No. The FAQ states there is never a membership fee, a consult fee or a shipping charge on any program, and that weight-loss medication is billed per order when the patient and provider decide to reorder. Only the hair-loss program runs on a quarterly auto-refill.
Where does Contour Health operate?
Forty-six states. The site names the four exclusions directly: Michigan, Mississippi, Kentucky and Arkansas. Consults run over Zoom video with a licensed nurse practitioner, and medication plus all injection supplies ship to the patient.
Is Contour Health legit?
Contour Health is a GLP-1 sellers by price service. Its stated availability: 46 states (not MI, MS, KY, AR). What our record does not establish: whether it bills insurance and how its intake works. Ask for those in writing before you pay.
Is Contour Health expensive compared with other GLP-1 sellers by price providers?
Contour Health publishes a starting figure of $130/mo. Across the 153 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $76 to $369 with a median of $178, which puts Contour Health below the median, toward the cheaper end. The other 7 GLP-1 sellers by price providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
