Nava Health review
Separate care and prescription costs
Nava Health’s NavaRX program combines medical weight-management assessment with testing and nutrition support. General membership prices do not establish the cost of a selected prescription.
Our verdict
Nava may suit someone who wants laboratory review and nutrition input alongside a prescribing assessment. Compare the care plan and actual medicine quote together. A membership starting figure, assessment fee or access to prescriptions is not automatically a medication-inclusive monthly bill.

What it is
Nava’s clinical terms identify Nava Health MD, LLC and Nava Health Medical Group, LLC as the organizations providing those terms. Its NavaRX page describes a medical weight-management program with diagnostic testing, nutritional counseling and coaching. A clinician still needs to decide what is appropriate for you. The location page identifies physical centers in Maryland and Virginia alongside virtual care. Choose the actual practice and appointment format rather than treating a shared brand as one identical service in every location.
How it works
The care-process page describes testing first, followed by separate medical and nutrition discussions and a personalized plan. Ask which tests matter for your treatment and who explains results that need further attention. Virtual care is described through video visits. Confirm whether your own assessment, testing and follow-up can be completed that way. Nava also describes app-based access to results and care-team messaging. Clarify how a medication concern reaches the prescribing clinician, rather than assuming a message to general support replaces clinical advice.
Pricing transparency
The membership page advertises a $299 one-time foundational assessment. Vitality is described as starting at $199, then $139 per month; Longevity starts at $199, then $199 per month. These are care-plan descriptions, not a selected drug-and-supply quote. The page lists member pricing and discounts on treatments. Confirm the complete payment agreement. The weight-loss page does not bind its named medicines to an exact preparation, quantity and complete ongoing price. A general access-to-medication benefit does not settle those details.
Branded vs compounded
NavaRX names semaglutide and tirzepatide and says FDA-approved or compounded formulations may be used. That wording does not identify which product would be prescribed to you. Confirm the exact medicine, formulation, route, quantity and dispensing pharmacy; do not assume that a familiar ingredient name identifies a branded product. If a compounded medicine is proposed, it is not FDA-approved and FDA does not review its safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. Ask how the proposed prescription and continuing clinical reviews fit the plan you are buying.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- Testing is followed by medical and nutrition discussions.
- Physical locations and virtual care are described separately.
- Clinical payment and appointment policies are publicly available.
Watch-outs
- Membership pricing does not settle the complete prescription bill.
- General virtual coverage is not individual medication eligibility.
- Canceling membership does not establish a prescription refund.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Nava Health’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. We publish no fabricated ratings or first-hand outcomes. A partnership never changes the assessment — see how we make money.
Frequently asked
- Is the membership figure a GLP-1 medication price?
- No specific medicine-inclusive offer is established. The care plans describe assessments, reviews and member treatment pricing. Request the prescription and any separate care or delivery charges together. Also confirm which membership, if any, is required for the NavaRX treatment you are considering.
- Are laboratory results the end of the service?
- The process includes discussing results with medical and nutrition practitioners and developing a plan. Ask what follow-up is expected for your treatment and which repeat tests cost extra. A useful comparison includes those later steps, not just the initial panel or access to a dashboard.
- Does virtual care mean prescriptions are available nationwide?
- No. The telemedicine page names a limited list of jurisdictions, including Washington, D.C., while another FAQ uses broader national wording. Confirm availability for your location and selected treatment. A general virtual-care list does not establish that every medicine can be prescribed or delivered there.
- Can I cancel membership and recover treatment payments?
- The membership page says cancel anytime. Clinical terms separately require at least twenty-four hours’ notice for appointments and list a $100 missed-medical-appointment fee. Membership cancellation does not establish a medication refund. Obtain the selected cancellation, renewal and unused-package terms before paying.
- Will Nava bill my insurance?
- The clinical terms say Nava does not accept insurance or file claims, and patients remain responsible for its charges. Confirm any separate laboratory or pharmacy benefits directly with the relevant parties. A general statement about possible coverage is not a guarantee that your NavaRX bill will be paid.
- Does the website privacy policy cover every clinical record?
- The website policy describes information collected through the site, including payment, contact and tracking information. Ask the treating practice which medical privacy notice applies to your records and how to request them. Do not treat broad website privacy or security wording as proof that every service, app and clinical record has identical handling.
