TeleSlim Clinic review
TeleSlim Clinic offers virtual physician care with separate consultation, membership and medication costs; public price and state-coverage differences need clarification for the selected practice.
TeleSlim Clinic review: physician membership versus medication costs, consultation pricing, oral and injected prescription options, state coverage and refund qualifications.
Our verdict
TeleSlim Clinic is worth comparing as a physician-care membership rather than a medication bundle. Its published plan menu makes the clinical service easier to identify, but the prescription has its own payment path. Several public pages disagree about the care fee and service geography, so obtain the agreement for your state and chosen clinician before buying a longer plan. A reduced monthly equivalent can be useful only when the total commitment and the separate medication bill remain visible.

What it is
The main TeleSlim Clinic site identifies a virtual practice and names its clinical team. Jihad Kudsi is listed as founder, Diala Alatassi as chief medical officer and Katie Rosenfeld among the physicians. The team page says the founder is not currently offering patient consultations through the platform. A familiar name on the leadership page therefore should not be treated as a promised appointment with that person. Confirm the clinician available for your state and chosen visit before paying.
How it works
The planning page describes an initial physician consultation followed by monthly physician follow-ups under a subscription. Nutrition and exercise support can be added separately. Decide which services you want and request their appointment frequency and combined cost; the existence of a broad team does not mean every specialty visit is included in the base plan. Ask how the treating clinician handles medication changes and which communication channel to use between scheduled visits. This is a care relationship to evaluate alongside the prescription, not a replacement for understanding it.
Pricing transparency
The main page advertises a limited-time $99 initial consultation and a $99 monthly plan, alongside $269 for three months, $499 for six months and $899 for a year. Those figures are clinical service prices, not a drug-inclusive quote. The FAQ still gives a different subscription starting amount. Request a current order summary before choosing a term, and distinguish the first consultation from later membership charges. The planning page also describes optional services and separate prescription payment. A longer-term equivalent should never be presented as a cancel-anytime monthly charge without the corresponding agreement.
Branded vs compounded
The medication menu names injected semaglutide as Wegovy or Ozempic, tirzepatide as Zepbound or Mounjaro, and liraglutide as Saxenda. Its dedicated Foundayo page describes prescribing oral orforglipron when appropriate in Illinois. Oral Wegovy appears in the medication menu, but its separate page still describes a future option; confirm current availability rather than assuming that listing settles it. These are named prescription options for clinician consideration, not assurances that each patient will qualify or receive a particular brand. Ask for the exact product, route and pharmacy price. The clinical membership amount does not establish what an insurer will cover or what a prescription will cost at your selected dispenser.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- Published clinical plan options distinguish an initial visit from ongoing physician follow-up.
- The medication menu includes named oral and injected prescription options.
- Named team profiles help a prospective patient ask about the actual treating clinician.
Watch-outs
- Medication is a separate expense rather than part of the advertised membership fee.
- The FAQ and main plan menu do not show one consistent subscription starting amount.
- The main coverage statement is broader than the states named in the linked terms.

Best for
People who want recurring physician-led virtual care and will compare its membership fee separately from pharmacy payment and optional support.
Who should look elsewhere
Someone expecting the care fee to buy a medication shipment or assuming that a multi-month plan has the same refund rights as the monthly option.

Frequently asked
- Does the monthly membership include medication?
- The FAQ explicitly excludes medication expenses from the subscription. It describes a prescription being sent to the preferred pharmacy after consultation. Obtain that pharmacy’s quote or benefit determination separately; an affordable clinical membership does not by itself establish an affordable medication bill.
- Why should I confirm the current care fee?
- The main plan menu and FAQ publish different starting amounts. Ask for a dated selected-plan summary showing the initial consultation, recurring care fee, optional services and pharmacy responsibility. Do not resolve the discrepancy by assuming the lower page always governs every clinician or state.
- Can I receive care in every state listed on the main site?
- The homepage advertises Illinois plus Texas, Colorado, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Arizona. The linked terms, dated October 2024, say Illinois and Texas only. Confirm which practice and agreement apply to your location before paying; the broader marketing statement does not reconcile that contractual difference.
- Is the initial consultation credited or refundable?
- The terms say an initial consultation fee is applied to membership if the patient is accepted, and is not refunded if the patient is not accepted. Ask how that credit works with the current promotional visit and selected plan. Do not assume either a duplicate fee or a guaranteed refund without confirmation.
- What if insurance will not pay for the prescription?
- The planning page says subscription fees can be refunded if insurance denies medication and the patient declines to self-pay, leaving the initial consultation charge. That is a particular stated exception, not a general refund promise for any reason. Obtain the applicable conditions and documentation requirements before relying on it.
- Can I cancel a longer plan as freely as the monthly option?
- The plan menu describes the monthly option as flexible, while longer terms have their own total prices. Ask when cancellation takes effect and whether any unused portion is refundable. A statement that care can be stopped does not establish that a prepaid balance will be returned.
- Which pharmacy will dispense the prescription?
- The site names Rush Pharmacy as a partner, while the FAQ says a prescription can go to the patient’s preferred pharmacy. Confirm the actual destination and selected product before arranging payment. A named partner does not establish the dispenser or the preparation assigned to every patient.
- Are the care membership and medication insurance arrangements the same?
- No. The terms describe cash-pay care and say services are unavailable to Medicare beneficiaries, while prescription coverage is a separate question. Verify your eligibility with the selected practice and insurer. Review the privacy policy before sharing health details, and use the clinician’s designated channel for treatment questions.
