Klinic review
Separate care and medicine bills
Klinic connects patients with independent clinicians for branded GLP-1 care, with visit fees and pharmacy charges that need to be compared separately.
Our verdict
Klinic is worth considering if you want insurance support and access to a prescribing clinician. Its public visit prices are useful, but they are not complete treatment totals. Confirm the selected medicine, care arrangement and recurring charges before comparing it with a bundled plan.

What it is
Klinic, Inc. operates the technology platform; it is not itself a medical group. Clinical care comes from independent providers, including clinicians affiliated with the separate Klinic Medical, PLLC. The platform privacy policy distinguishes those roles, so an account or billing question and a question about treatment may have different responsible teams. The company identifies Avish Bhama as founder and CEO and names Vivek Chander as Chief Physician of Klinic Medical. Those are its published leadership roles, not an independent credential check. Ask which clinician will evaluate you and which practice will retain your medical record.
How it works
The semaglutide program describes matching patients with a provider, an online evaluation and ongoing support. Its care description specifically calls appointments live video and discusses blood sugar, cholesterol and thyroid lab monitoring. That is more informative than assuming every prescription follows a questionnaire alone. It does not establish which tests your clinician will order, how frequently you will meet or whether a laboratory bill is included. Ask for the planned appointment schedule, the way to reach the clinician between visits and a separate explanation of testing charges.
Pricing transparency
Self-pay care is advertised from $99 for an initial visit and $75 for follow-ups, with medication extra. Those are visit prices, not monthly drug quotes. The tirzepatide page separately says Zepbound starts at $299 a month. Oral Wegovy is advertised from $149 monthly. Foundayo’s $149 monthly figure applies to its lowest dose, and higher doses cost more. The terms also describe recurring membership charges without one public amount for every weight-care patient. Confirm whether membership applies to your service, whether it replaces visit charges and what the pharmacy will bill. These figures do not establish a complete recurring treatment total.
Branded vs compounded
The weight-care program names branded medicines and offers both injectable and oral options. It describes semaglutide through Wegovy and tirzepatide through Zepbound. These are possible prescriptions after evaluation, not a promise that every visitor will receive a drug. Its semaglutide page also names Ozempic and says Klinic prescribes branded products rather than compounded semaglutide. The oral Wegovy page identifies semaglutide in pill form. Foundayo is separately identified as oral orforglipron. Its dose-specific price schedule should not be carried over to another medicine. Keep the exact product, strength and quantity attached to any pharmacy quote.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Klinic’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. We publish no fabricated ratings or first-hand outcomes. A partnership never changes the assessment — see how we make money.
Frequently asked
- Does the advertised visit price include medication?
- No. The homepage puts medication costs outside its starting self-pay visit fees. Follow-up frequency also matters: a per-appointment charge is not automatically a monthly subscription price. Ask for the medicine bill and care schedule together, and keep uncertain charges visible rather than treating them as zero.
- Which pharmacy will dispense my prescription?
- The tirzepatide pathway describes a prescription going to a manufacturer’s pharmacy, which then arranges payment and delivery. That does not identify the dispenser for every medication. The platform’s footer separately calls Klinic Pharmacy Hub Services a non-dispensing pharmacy. Confirm the actual pharmacy, medication charge and delivery arrangement for your order.
- Does help with insurance guarantee coverage?
- No. Klinic describes checking benefits and managing prior authorization, including follow-up with the insurer. Those services help with the application; they do not turn a published starting copay into your approved medication price. For Foundayo, the page separates eligible savings arrangements from self-pay pricing and notes that dose changes affect cost. Ask what happens if your insurer denies coverage.
- How do cancellation and refund rules differ?
- The terms describe two different situations. Appointment cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice or a missed visit may incur a $50 fee. A recurring membership has a separate request deadline: email by 9 a.m. Pacific, 14 business days before billing. The terms reserve the right not to refund prepaid amounts. Confirm which agreement applies to the service you choose; ending a membership is not the same as canceling an appointment.
- Is an online visit enough for every patient?
- An evaluation comes before prescribing. The semaglutide care page describes live video and ongoing monitoring. A platform connection alone does not establish your eligibility. Medical needs and local availability still require individual assessment. Confirm a clinician can treat you where you will attend the visit, before paying for care.
- Who handles my medical information and record requests?
- Klinic Medical’s clinical privacy notice describes access to records, correction requests and confidential communications. It permits uses for treatment, practice operations, billing and certain legal purposes; marketing or sale requires written permission under the notice. Those published rights are useful when choosing who to contact after a visit. They are not an independent security audit or a promise that medical information is never shared.
