VivioMD review
Named partners; check offer terms
VivioMD connects patients with independent medical groups for GLP-1 care. Compare the selected prescription and renewal terms, because its public pricing pages describe different offers.
Our verdict
VivioMD publishes pharmacy partners and a detailed cancellation policy, which give you concrete details to check before enrolling. Its named-medicine landing offer and generic homepage cards should not be treated as interchangeable. Get a written quote for the actual preparation, amount supplied and continuing charge.

What it is
VivioMD Group LLC runs the platform; OpenLoop Healthcare Partners P.C. and other independent medical groups provide clinical care. Terms list RedRock Pharmacy and Triad Rx for compounding, and Health Warehouse for retail fulfillment; confirm your actual dispenser. FDA issued VivioMD Group LLC dba VivioMD a warning letter on June 8, 2026, after reviewing its website in March. The agency challenged pictured labels suggesting VivioMD compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide when it did not. This is dated advertising context, not a product approval or a finding about present conditions.
How it works
The telehealth consent describes care from OpenLoop and its affiliated groups. It says you must agree to the medical group’s consent before treatment, and that a provider may refer you to in-person care when telehealth is unsuitable. This is a remote prescribing relationship, so keep your existing clinician informed and know how to reach the treating practice between visits. The homepage advertises an included live consultation, ongoing check-ins and messaging. Insurance is not required; HSA and FSA payments are advertised. Terms allow charges for laboratories and outside services. Confirm any required tests and prices; do not assume bloodwork is included.
Pricing transparency
The homepage shows unnamed GLP-1 tablets and injections starting at $299 per month, GLP-1 plus GIP injections at $398, and Ozempic injection at $1,299. These are starting advertisements, not a verified bill for every dose or supplied quantity. A separate landing page names semaglutide at $179 for the first month and $249 thereafter, and tirzepatide at $269 initially and $339 thereafter. It describes access to branded and compounded medicines without tying those amounts to one preparation. Confirm which offer applies; do not carry an introductory amount forward as the renewal price. Membership terms provide for advance billing, automatic renewal and possible loss of a commitment-linked discount after early cancellation. Other services can be billed separately.
Branded vs compounded
The safety information explicitly describes compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide injections. That establishes those preparations, but does not identify the ingredient in the homepage’s dissolvable tablet. Nor does a safety-information heading alone establish that every brand described there is an available offer. Ozempic is separately named on the homepage. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved; FDA does not review their safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing.
FDA warning letter on record
The FDA issued a warning letter naming VivioMD Group LLC dba VivioMD.
- Letter 728295, issued June 8, 2026 — read it on fda.gov
We publish this because it is a matter of public record and a reader weighing this provider should have it. A warning letter is the FDA setting out alleged violations; it is not a court finding, and a company may have responded or corrected since. It does not remove VivioMD from our rankings, and it does not change our verdict — read the letter and decide for yourself.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of VivioMD’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. Frequently asked
- Is the first-month offer the continuing medication price?
- No. The separate named-medicine offer explicitly raises the charge after the first month. It also discusses both branded and compounded access. Before paying, obtain the exact medicine, formulation, quantity and renewal amount together. A weekly dosing description is not a promise about how much medication is supplied in one shipment.
- How early must I cancel to avoid the next charge?
- The refund policy requires receipt of the cancellation request at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date. Missing that window can mean another billing cycle before cancellation takes effect. Cancel through the stated support channel or patient portal when available, and keep confirmation showing the effective date.
- Does cancellation always produce a refund?
- No. The policy offers a full refund within the first seventy-two hours only if no subscription services have been received, and describes refunds after medical disqualification. It generally excludes refunds for the current or prior monthly periods. Multi-month refunds depend on months without medication shipped. Rendered healthcare services and ordered medication have additional limits; ask which charges remain payable.
- Is service available wherever a provider is licensed?
- The terms say services are offered in forty-nine states, excluding Louisiana, while also qualifying availability by applicable law. The homepage’s statement about providers licensed in all states does not establish access to every prescription. Confirm your physical location and selected treatment with the medical group before paying.
- How is website information different from my clinical record?
- The privacy policy distinguishes website and non-clinical data from protected clinical information handled by the medical groups. It describes consent-based advertising uses of some non-clinical information and routes clinical intake through Tellescope to OpenLoop. Review the choices before sharing sensitive information; a website privacy policy is not the same document as your treating practice’s medical privacy notice.
- How can I get my records or arrange care elsewhere?
- The medical privacy notice describes requesting a copy or correction of your clinical record and confidential communications from the medical groups. It also permits sharing information for treatment. Keep the treating group’s details and request the records your next clinician needs. A portal login or subscription cancellation should not be your only plan for continuing care.
- Is VivioMD legit?
- FDA issued warning letter 728295 to VivioMD Group LLC dba VivioMD on June 8, 2026. The letter is linked on this page. A warning letter sets out alleged violations; it is not a court finding. Read the linked record before deciding. VivioMD is a GLP-1 telehealth service. Before you pay, confirm which states it serves, whether it bills insurance and how its intake works in writing for your selected treatment.
- Is VivioMD expensive compared with other GLP-1 providers?
- VivioMD is listed from $1299/mo in this comparison. The 387 reviewed GLP-1 providers with a listed monthly starting amount range from $76 to $1299, with a median of $179. That puts VivioMD above the median. The comparison excludes 192 other reviewed GLP-1 providers. Medicines, doses and payment commitments differ. Confirm the medication, renewal charge and included visits, supplies and delivery before deciding.
