Absolute Pharmacy review
Provider-focused dispensing
Absolute Pharmacy compounds prescriptions for providers. Confirm your preparation, dispensing terms and destination.
Our verdict
Separate the pharmacy charge from your prescriber’s care. Read the refund conditions and California customer notice before choosing a dispensing arrangement.

What it is
Absolute Pharmacy identifies its location in Lutz, Florida and describes a provider-focused, patient-specific 503A compounding operation. Its about page says prescriptions are prepared for individual patients rather than bulk-produced. Ask which practice assesses you, manages follow-up and changes treatment. A dispensing arrangement does not establish those clinical services or their fees.
How it works
The homepage describes prescriptions arriving through its portal, electronic prescribing software or an API, followed by compliance review, compounding and shipping. The portal tracks prescription status and invoices. Ask who bills you and who can authorize a correction or cancellation. A dashboard example does not show your own order’s status. Its health-information notice describes obtaining and correcting records, requesting confidential communications and asking for an accounting of disclosures. It allows treatment, payment and operational uses. Those pharmacy rights do not identify the record policy of an independent prescribing practice; read both notices for the services you receive.
Pricing transparency
Portal access is free for providers, with negotiated medication prices inside. That is not free medication or a complete patient quote. The sample tadalafil invoice does not establish a GLP charge. Get the prescribed formulation, quantity, treatment period, total pharmacy charge and separate practice fees. The refund policy says compounded medication sales are final and excludes returns and refunds. It encourages questions at ordering and refers to medicines leaving the facility. Confirm the cancellation cutoff before preparation rather than assuming an online update or cancellation feature guarantees a refundable order. Its terms also caution that website information may contain errors or change without notice. Obtain written confirmation for the selected order; a general website statement cannot settle a cancellation dispute.
Branded vs compounded
The homepage explicitly names semaglutide and tirzepatide under weight-loss compounding. It does not bind those names to a complete selected prescription. The separate weight-management page lists B12, MIC, Ultra Burn and phentermine, and labels its standards as non-sterile compounding. Those listings do not establish that every named GLP preparation is oral, injectable or supplied for the same duration. The about page’s broader oral, topical and gel formats should not be assigned to a particular molecule without confirmation. Compounded drugs lack FDA approval and premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. A California Board summary records a November 2023 action involving Absolute Pharmacy LLC in Lutz. It lists a stayed revocation and four-year probation for NRP 1666, plus voluntary surrender of NSC 100827. These dated entries do not establish current license conditions, present preparation quality or eligibility to supply your prescription.
Pros and watch-outs
What we like
- Patient-specific compounding and provider responsibilities are distinguished.
- The portal describes negotiated pricing and order tracking.
- Separate website and health-information notices are available.
Watch-outs
- A provider portal description is not a selected patient quote.
- Nationwide wording needs preparation-specific confirmation.
- Read the dated California action alongside current licensing information.

How we assessed this. This review reflects GLP Loss’s own read of Absolute Pharmacy’s publicly-stated model — pricing transparency, clinical oversight, medication clarity, and access — against our editorial methodology. We publish no fabricated ratings or first-hand outcomes. A partnership never changes the assessment — see how we make money.
Frequently asked
- Does free portal access establish my treatment cost?
- No. Free access is described for providers, while medication pricing is negotiated. Obtain your prescription’s complete charge and any practice fees. A software example or sample invoice is not your medication bill.
- Can I return compounded medication?
- The pharmacy’s policy makes compounded sales final and excludes returns and refunds. Ask about the order’s cancellation cutoff before preparation; a portal feature does not replace the financial agreement.
- Is same-day delivery guaranteed?
- The pharmacy says most prescriptions ship the same day and advertises two-to-seven-day shipping options. Dispatch and delivery are different. Confirm your preparation’s timeline, temperature requirements and destination before relying on a headline.
- What should California patients verify?
- Read the pharmacy’s linked California customer notice and check the current Board record for the dispensing license. The 2023 summary is a dated action, not a current authorization or clearance.
- Which privacy notice applies?
- The website policy covers site information, usage data, cookies and sharing with service providers or business partners. The separate health-information notice describes access, corrections, confidential communications and disclosure accounting. Ask which notice applies to your pharmacy record and which to your prescriber. Website marketing choices and medical-record rights serve different purposes.
- Does the weight-loss page identify my exact prescription?
- No. Its formulation list and general compounding labels do not settle the route, concentration or quantity of your own semaglutide or tirzepatide prescription. Ask for those details in the dispensing agreement rather than borrowing directions from another preparation.
